1. Who we are

TORII COLLECTIVE is a brand owned and operated by Nadisha Ventures Private Limited, registered at 389/B, Shop No. 10, Bhawani Peth, Near Hermas Apartment, Lohiya Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411042, India. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Nadisha Ventures Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below. This policy applies to toriicollective.com and to any order, enquiry or account created through it.

2. Information we collect

Given by you

• Name, email address and phone number, when you order, create an account, request a quotation or write to us.
• Billing address and delivery address, including any site or access notes you give us for a large delivery.
• Order details — the pieces chosen, materials and finishes specified, and any customisation instructions.
• For business orders: company name, GST registration number, purchase order references, and any logo files, brand guidelines or artwork you supply for a commissioned piece.

Collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and referring site, used to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.
• Cookie identifiers, as described in section 6.

What we never collect

We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking credentials or any other payment credential. These are entered directly on the secure, PCI-DSS compliant page of our RBI-authorised payment gateway partner and are never transmitted to or held on our systems. We receive only the outcome of the transaction, the last four digits of the instrument, and a reference number needed to reconcile and refund your order.

3. Why we use it

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

• To accept, produce, invoice, dispatch and deliver your order, and to keep you informed of its progress.
• To prepare quotations, drawings and sample packages for bespoke and corporate commissions.
• To provide client care — answering enquiries, arranging delivery, resolving damage or defect claims.
• To meet legal and tax obligations, including GST invoicing and record keeping.
• To detect and prevent fraud, misuse of payment instruments, and abuse of the site.
• To send occasional news about collections and openings — only if you have opted in. Every such message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects service messages about an order you have placed.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it for anyone else’s marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We disclose personal data only to the extent needed to fulfil your order or comply with the law, and only to parties bound by confidentiality obligations:

• Payment gateways and banks — to authorise, settle and refund your payment.
• Logistics and freight partners — name, delivery address and phone number, so that your piece can be delivered and you can be contacted to schedule it.
• Our commerce and hosting platforms — which operate the store, checkout and website infrastructure on our behalf.
• Manufacturing and finishing partners — only the specification and any artwork needed to produce your piece, under non-disclosure terms.
• Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required to disclose by law, court order or a lawful request from a government agency.

Some of these partners process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we use providers that apply comparable safeguards and transfer data only in accordance with applicable law.

5. Confidentiality of your brand assets

Any logo, vector file, campaign artwork, unreleased design or confidential specification you share with us for manufacturing is treated as your property and held in confidence. It is used solely to produce your order, is never shared with unauthorised third parties, and is never used in our own marketing or portfolio without your explicit written consent.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your shopping bag and signed-in session working and cannot be switched off without breaking the site. Where enabled, we also use analytics cookies to understand which pages are used and where visitors encounter difficulty. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, checkout and account features will not function.

7. How long we keep it

• Order, invoice and tax records: retained for eight years, as required by Indian tax and company law.
• Account details: retained while your account is open, and deleted on request thereafter.
• Marketing contact details: retained until you unsubscribe.
• Enquiries and quotations that do not become orders: retained for 24 months.

8. How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire site, access to order and customer records limited to staff who need it, credentials held in secured stores, and payment handling delegated entirely to PCI-DSS compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but in the event of a personal data breach affecting you we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

9. Your rights

You may, at any time, ask us to:

• confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
• correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
• erase data we no longer need for a lawful purpose (we may need to keep invoice records to meet tax obligations);
• withdraw a consent you previously gave, including for marketing;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Write to studio@toriicollective.com from the email address associated with your order or account. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
