Client Care
These terms govern your use of toriicollective.com and every order placed through it. Please read them before you buy.

This website and all commercial activity carried out through it are owned and operated by Nadisha Ventures Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 389/B, Shop No. 10, Bhawani Peth, Near Hermas Apartment, Lohiya Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411042, India. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Nadisha Ventures Private Limited trading as TORII COLLECTIVE, and “you” refers to the person or organisation placing the order.
By browsing this site, creating an account, requesting a quotation or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy, each of which forms part of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, firm or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these terms and to any associated commercial invoice.
We make sculptural furniture — chairs, sofas, tables, consoles, mirrors and sculptural objects — in solid hardwood and allied natural materials. Almost every piece is made to order after your payment is confirmed.
Timber, stone, leather and hand-applied finishes are natural materials. Grain, colour, figure and texture vary from piece to piece, and the photographs on this site are representative rather than exact. Such variation, and the mellowing of a finish over time, is a characteristic of handmade solid-wood furniture and is not a defect. Dimensions stated on a product page are nominal and subject to a tolerance of approximately 2%.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase; it does not itself create a contract. We accept your order — and the contract is formed — only when we send you a written order confirmation by email after your payment has been authorised. Until then we may decline any order, including where the piece is unavailable, where a material or finish you have specified cannot be sourced, where we cannot verify the delivery address, or where we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised use of a payment instrument.
In addition to the pieces listed on this site, we accept bespoke commissions and corporate or contract orders — furniture customised in material, finish, dimension or branding, and larger multi-unit orders for hospitality, workplace and gifting programmes. The following additional terms apply to those orders.
Because raw material, freight and customisation costs move, every quotation we issue is valid strictly for the window stated on the quotation sheet (typically 14 to 30 days). We may revise a quotation if your specification, artwork, volume or delivery deadline changes materially after it was issued.
For customised and branded work we supply a drawing or digital artwork proof. Production does not begin until we have your explicit written or digital sign-off. Once you have approved a proof, responsibility for the accuracy of the approved layout, spelling, dimensions and finish passes to you.
In batch manufacturing and customised print or engraving runs, yields vary. On bulk quantities we reserve a variance of plus or minus 5%. The final invoice is adjusted to the exact quantity delivered, or a credit is issued accordingly.
Production lead times, dispatch and delivery timelines are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Because every piece is made to order, orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once making has begun. When an order may still be cancelled, how we resolve a damaged or defective piece, and the timelines on which any refund that is due is credited, are set out in our Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy. Both are incorporated into these terms.
We do not offer a warranty period on our pieces, and none is implied by these terms. What we offer instead is our work and our attention: every piece is inspected before it is crated, and we stand by the standard of making that leaves our atelier.
If a piece reaches you damaged in transit, structurally defective, or materially different from the specification you approved, tell us within the windows set out in our Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy and we will put it right by repair or replacement at our cost.
Beyond that, we remain available for care advice, finish guidance and chargeable repair or restoration for as long as you own the piece. We do not, however, accept responsibility for:
All designs, drawings, photographs, text and marks on this site belong to Nadisha Ventures Private Limited or are used under licence, and may not be copied, reproduced or used to manufacture derivative pieces without our written consent. Conversely, any logo, artwork or brand asset you supply to us for a commissioned or branded order remains yours; we use it only to fulfil your order and never share it with unauthorised parties or use it in our own marketing without your consent.
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, not to introduce malicious code, and not to extract its content by automated means for commercial reuse. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you actually paid for the piece giving rise to the claim. Neither Nadisha Ventures Private Limited nor TORII COLLECTIVE, nor our directors, employees or partners, shall be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost opportunity or a missed event or launch date — arising from carrier delay, material shortage or any other cause outside our direct control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, epidemic, strike, carrier disruption, customs inspection, civil unrest, failure of utilities or telecommunications, or governmental action. Where such an event occurs we will tell you promptly and agree a revised timeline with you.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that governs that order. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India. Before commencing proceedings, please write to us at studio@toriicollective.com so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.
